We've Been Rewritten!

Well, this was mildly unexpected. I intended to use static sites forever, but it become a bitch after a few months of being unable to edit posts on other computers without needing to commit and push drafts. Since my site’s code is public, drafts could be seen by anyone. Sure, I could have fixed this by simply making the repo private, but that wouldn’t solve the other big problem: mobile. I thought about using an off-the-shelf solution like Ghost, but I thought it’d be a lot more fun and on-brand to write my own CMS instead.

So here we are! Everyone say hello to yapanese. Maybe I’ll actually start using this site more now that it’s easier to work on. Markdown tables are still a bitch, though.

Anyway, time to start back-porting the existing posts then make this site live at the actual domain.

Bam. Done.
